Apron and Buddys Stocking, I got these two and a straw fedora for a dollar, I am making up all stories in my head about Buddy, I pictured him as a guy or a kid and they lady at the thrift shop suggested a dog, I still think it was a boy, maybe he is Buddy the elf......

there was a church rummage sale I didnt know about and I went late, this is all I got for 25 cents each, the play-game songbook has two 45 records in it, I want to hear them!!!



from the early 80's , there was a store here in NY called Cheap Johns and it closed years ago, it has the sticker on the back so I had to by it

The Bear scared me!!

I bought a GIANT "its a boy" teddy bear balloon and it kept looking at me in the rearview mirror...........

I did not buy this

I thought this was pretty scary in the salvation army, someone made this purse, dont get me wrong , I like quirky things, but I am not sure about this......

The Pixie Legend, I got him at a sale this past summer, his outfit is a burlap, he has a card from Inarco that says the pixie Legen, go to the next picture to see the legend, people left him behind at a sale because the bar on the back is snapped

Roly Santa, I went to the thrift shop at lunch he was pricey for me ($2) but I bought him anyway


Rudolph Party, the one in the middle is on a record insert that you put on the turntable, I freaked when I found it! I think it was at the same sale as my giant tiki shadowbox!


Cardboard Santa,it used to hand up at my old job and the woman who brought it in gave it to me because I loved it, I love Santas high heeled Boots


Tree with vintage glass ornaments, this is in the front window, its fake, I have to do the vintage bulbs, I have some white twinkling ones on it now and the star was from the 80's and of course the MUST HAVE tinsel!




What to do with all the freakin stockings?? there are 5 on the fake fireplace so I had an idea!


TA DA! I hung a red and green string and put hooks on them and hung them in the hallway! a lot of them are beat up but I still like them!

More from pre thanksgiving thrifting

from my day before Thanksgiving thrift shop run, these 2 were 27 cents they are small, the house is tiny, its and ornamentmaybe about an inch, it says West Germany on it

Of Course I found an apron! its a bit faded, at first I walked right by it , it was hanging with the ugly Christmas sweaters!

My cardboard fireplace!!!!!! I got it this past summer for a dollar! the people thought I was nuts and they were throwing it into to my car to get rid of it! We unfortunatly had a REAL fireplace growing up and We didn't have this!

Saturdays Haul

This is the time of year where all the thrift shops put out christmas items and of course I must go look...and buy!!

these were 15 cents each at the Church thrift shop, they kind of look like Campbell kids faces to me


this thrift shop is only open 2 saturdays of the month, this is some salt and peppers I got for 25 cents each and a snow globe santa



one was missing and there was a little angel in its spot, so I got them anyway

A $3.50 thrift shop haul

the boss let me and my co-workers go at noon before Thansgiving and I RAN TO THE thrift shops, I spent $3.50 at one and this is what I got these glass ornaments and the next pictures, these were 5 cents each

I bought this for $5 at a sale and I have seen it online for $200!!! (some other websties and ebay has it cheaper) it is AMAZING, quite, easy clean up, makes a lot of juice


iI made carrot juice, it made a ton, I drank some before this shot!!!!

Day of the Elves

theses were 25 cents each at the thrift shop on my day off, the woman was telling me how OLD they were, she said they were 40 years old!!!! I told her as old as ME !!(and I am even older!!)
