I wanted to drink out of a pineapple before summer ends!

I bought this pineapple cutter for 50 cents at a sale and the Pineapple was on sale!!!


it cut rings which would've been not as mushy if it wasnt over ripe, boy were they tasty!!!


Target had the cocktail animals years ago and the girls night out cocktail men were in the dollar spot years ago too, its for girls night out OR boys depending on who you are......


I had oversized umbrellas and I put the assorted monkeys, mermaids and men...I just had Hawaiian punch with the juice from the pineapple, no alcohol, I had none in the house


Yummmy!!! goes good with a fez, and me being a big tiki person, I am sorry to say its my frist time drinking from a pineapple!!!!

Burn those Mallows

I wanted to toast, well burn .............some marshmallows before the summer was gone!!! And I did it tonight!

I love the way the Antenna looks

its a rental so it has this and a satellite dish and tons of wires from may cable TVs, I think its cool, it reminds me of the past!!!!

Carl..the snail

My 4 year old nephew wanted fish as a pet, they got him 4 small fish and a plant, My sister named the fish, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Stewie

A snail hitched a ride on the plant, I was on the phone with my sister when she told me.

I ask "What is the snails name?"

She asks my 4 year old nephew in the background and I hear a small voice quickly say "Carl"

so his name is Carl...........................

Tiki Section - I had to give up one half the room for my BF's equipment and the other half has the kitchen table -

50's barkcloth Tabecoth, This was from the famous BOHACK Estate sale last year, it had many stains and it came clean with Oxy, it fits the vintage outside metal table perfectly!!!!

Park On LI NY

Concession stand by the beach - they have a 50's theme going on, its a really cute stand!!!!!! I have not been to the classic car gathering yet! this beach park use to be so dirty and trashed and they just fixed it up recently with A new concession stand and a water park and new Bandshell(where I saw Howard Jones) its really cool now!!!

Miles Davis Honda Scooter Ad

I have a Honda scooter Aero 50 in my parents garage, my ex boyfriend back in early 90s smashed the front and now its near to impossible to find the parts, I love that thing, it has a misfits sticker on the back that my x put on, I love all the adds from the 80's for the scooters, Grace Jones with Adam Ant, Lou Reed , Miles, Devo very cool........(I really wanted a Vespa but back then all they had were OLD and very expensive vespas!!!)

Got Country?

For people throughout the United States, do they have country music radio stations where you live????

My Niece who is from NY and moved to Florida 6 years ago said that the radio stations are the same as here except they have Country Music stations.

In the Tri state area(downstate and all around Manhattan & suburbs) there are none, I think they tried it once in the 80's, maybe 90's but it didn't last......I am not sure if they every had any others...
